Sima Winding Technology s.r.l./ Sumirago, a company of the Dietze+Schell Group, specialized in manufacturing of take up winders for monofilaments and fibrillated tapes for the rope & twine industry has a new Managing Director.

Former Managing Director Pino Manieri founded Nuova Protex in 1975 and guided the company for the following 45 years. In 2017 the Dietze+Schell Group integrated Nuova Protex in its structure and changed the name to Sima Winding Technology in close association with Sima s.r.l., the other Italian company of the Group specialized on development and production of extrusion lines.

Management at Sima Winding Technology was passed over in July 2020 to David Praduroux who previously held the position of the Sales Manager for 10 years.

David Praduroux recently stated: “I am very excited about the possibilities of growth of this Business Unit, especially in combination with the latest developments concerning extrusion technology within the Group. We are already able to effectively integrate the production of winders of Dietze+Schell with solutions specifically targeted to extrusion take up with manual changeover. We look forward to further pursuing our endeavor to offer high level technology at the most competitive price for the benefit of our customers.”
