Technical yarns
Technical yarns have a round cross-section and in most cases consist of polyamide, polyester or polyethylene. They form the starting material for silk fabrics, sack fabrics, baler twine, tyres, mat fabrics and many other products.
In addition to various winding and rewinding machines, Dietze+Schell offers additional components for finishing technical yarns. For example, our machines apply a wide variety of liquids to the yarn between production and winding in order to improve its suppleness or increase its acid resistance. Sensor systems for quality control detect thick and thin areas, knots and other defects.
