Monofilaments
Dietze+Schell designs and manufactures manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic winding systems for monofilaments. The range also comprises components for quality testing, such as yarn thickness control. Monofilaments are round or flat-round fibres with diameters of 0.06 to 6 millimetres. In contrast to multifilaments, monofilaments are single fibres. They are used, for example, in the production of artificial turf.
Dietze+Schell group includes Sima S.R.L. (Italy), a manufacturer of extrusion systems. It enables the group to build full extrusion systems, from the melt to the wound and finished bobbin.
